LOTOJA Results!!!

So Ryan raced the Lotoja on Saturday and he rode 206 miles in 3 states in 10 hours, 49 minutes and 41 seconds! He got 20th place out of 42 in his group. He got 360th place out of 844 male riders. He got 378th place out of the 928 finishers (I don't know if this included all the relay teams or not.)

It was such a blast and fun to see him every few hours at the checkpoints! He did awesome, had fun but now is super sore, especially his bottom! At one of the stops, there was a guy holding a sign that said, "How's your butt?" Imagine sitting on a bike for 11 hours!

I will upload pictures from my phone when I can figure it out...can you believe that we forgot the camera!? Anywho...congrats Ryan! Awesome job! Love you babe! :)

Baby Names

We had another ultrasound yesterday and all looks well with the baby, and yep it is still a boy! So we have come up with 3 names that we like...Brock, Parker or Hayden. The middle name will be Ryan...so which name should it be?

Brock Ryan Christensen

Parker Ryan Christensen

Hayden Ryan Christensen

On a side note...Tyler threw up twice today so dad stayed home in the morning and mom in the afternoon. We'll do the same thing tomorrow. Riley got both his bakugan cards today! Another 7 school days and then he'll be off track. Ryan is gearing up for the Lotoja race and mom is getting nervous about driving and making all the pit stops! Things are good though...yep, can't complain!

UPDATE

Just thought that I would post a quick update on what has been happening...

Tyler went back to school with mom and is in the NobleNight Daycare at Northridge High School where mom works. He is the oldest one in his "class" but has been a very big helper. He doesn't like getting up at 6:45 in the mornings and has a hard time saying good-bye to mom, but he loves playing with all his "friends" again! And at home he is busy playing outside and of course he loves the street, roaming in other neighbors yards and garages and ringing their doorbells! He keeps mom on her toes!

Riley has had 2 fabulous weeks and we are trying to make it 3 in a row! He earned another Bakugan ball at school and is now awaiting its arrival in the mail. He has sure enjoyed earning up to 2 Bakugan cards each day and has been busy at home playing with friends, riding his bike, doing his homework etc. He has 2 1/2 more weeks until he goes off track for 3 weeks.

Sheree is now back to work again and has pretty good classes, but they are larger than usual because of all the budget cuts but she is glad to have a job! And of course she is trying to do all the other usual stuffs that moms do!

Ryan is gearing up for the LOTOJA race (Logan, UT to Jackson Hole, Wyoming) which takes place on Saturday September 12. It is a 206 mile race. He has continued doing the RMR's (Rocky Mountain Raceway criteriums) and got 7th place last night and is ranked #33 in his flite.

We enjoyed our first cantaloupe and carrots out of our garden last week. We have tons of tomatoes and cucumbers too. Riley is selling our mini pumpkins to the neighbor kids. And we have a lot of other cantaloupe and watermelons growing that we can't wait to eat!

Yep, things are good right now...can't complain! Hope everyone else is good!
